CML Needs Volunteer Coaches

The Charleston Miracle League is in need of some volunteers who would be willing to coach our youth and adult league baseball teams.  We need a few so if you have an interest please contact us ASAP.  It is an easy task but with great rewards knowing that you helped others with mental and physical challenges to play baseball.

Games start on 3/11/17 with adults playing 9-12 and youth playing 12-1.  There is a couple of forms to submit so the sooner we can get this done, the easier the game day experience we all will have.

There is nothing LIKE the CML experience so come and be a part of Charleston’s best diamond!   Either fill out the Volunteer form or send an email to MiracleLeagueED@gmail.com for questions, comments and concerns.

Thanks and its always a great day for baseball!

“You should give all your heart, family and lives will allow.”

Clean up Day: March 4, 2017 (Saturday)
Time: 9:00 – 12:00

Always looking for volunteers so please visit our Volunteer Section so you can become a part of the best baseball in Charleston.

Thanks for your support!

“You should give as much as your heart, family and lives allow.”

Youth League Assistant Coaches Needed for Fall 2015

Charleston Miracle League is seeking two more Assistant Coaches to help out with our Youth League teams this Fall season, which starts Sept 19! Email our Youth League Director, Andrea, at miracleleagueed@gmail.com if interested. And you should be — being a Miracle League coach is a fantastic experience!

IMPORTANT: New Bat policy — Foam or plastic only

At the Charleston Miracle League the safety of our players, volunteers, & Coaches is of utmost importance. In light of a recent tragedy involving a minor league ball boy we are making a change in equipment for the Fall 2015 youth season. Beginning September 19, 2015 (Opening Day), the Charleston Miracle League will require all players to use the provided foam or plastic bats. No other bats (aluminum, metal, composite or wood) will be allowed. We hope that this does not cause too much of an inconvenience for players and families, but we believe in providing as safe an environment as possible.

Oct 29: New Date for 2nd Annual Mulligans for Miracles Golf Tournament presented by Sumter Utilities

The 2nd Annual Mulligans for Miracles Golf Tournament
presented by
sumter logo is RESCHEDULED for Thursday, Oct. 29 at
Shadowmoss Plantation Golf Club in Charleston!

–NEW DATE; RESCHEDULED FOR OCT. 29 —

We had a great time with a sold-out field at last year’s inaugural Mulligans for Miracles, and we’ll have even more fun this year! All proceeds from Mulligans for Miracles presented by Sumter Utilities benefit the Charleston Miracle League — we raised more than $13,000 last year, which helped maintain Joe Griffith Miracle Field, buy uniforms for players, send CML families on the annual Atlanta Braves trip and more.

Come out and join us for the 1:00 pm shotgun start on Oct. 29 for the 2nd Annual Mulligans for Miracles presented by Sumter Utilities … the $75 per player/$300 per foursome registration fee is all-inclusive, providing:
* Captain’s Choice tournament with four-player teams
* pre-tourney lunch from The Kickin’ Chicken starting at 11:30 a.m.
* All beverages, sponsored by Michelob Ultra, Two Keys Tavern, Famous Joe’s Bar and Grill, and Anderson Bros. Bank
* Golf goodie bag with souvenir golf towel and more
* Range balls
* Snacks out on the course from Paisano’s Pizza Grill, Lockear’s Beach City Grill and more
* Great door prizes
* Post-tourney dinner from Moe’s Southwest Grill

So put a team together
and register for Mulligans for Miracles presented by Sumter Utilities!

We’re also looking for sponsors and prizes; there are multiple sponsor opportunities available if you’d like to support this great event.

And, we also need VOLUNTEERS to help out on Oct. 8 ... morning set up shifts, tournament shifts, and after-tournament shifts are available, and it takes a lot of people to run this event, so if you can come out on Thursday Oct. 29 to Shadowmoss Plantation, we’d love to have you!
