Thanks to Abiding Word Kids Ministries!

abidingkidsdonation1A big Charleston Miracle League THANK YOU to the Abiding Word Kids Ministries group from Moncks Corner, who donated $100 to CML at our Spring 2014 closing day. We look forward to seeing them again when the Fall 2014 season kicks off in September!

The Giants win a SQUEAKER!

It really couldn’t have been any closer, but congratulations to the Giants for winning the Youth League Bridging the Gap Through Baseball fundraising competition! It was INCREDIBLY close between the Giants, Braves and Cardinals … but the Giants squeaked it out and earn a trip to an Atlanta Braves game this summer compliments of Charleston Miracle League! GREAT JOB BY ALL TEAMS … thousands of dollars raised for Charleston Miracle League!

The Giants will make their all-expenses paid trip to Turner Field for the June 14 game featuring the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim vs. the Atlanta Braves.

Games added for May 10!

Good news — we’ve added games on Sat., May 10 to make up for some of the rainouts we had this Spring season! Games on Sat. May 10 will replicate the May 3 schedule for both Youth League and Adult League (same game times and opponents on May 10 as on May 3 for both Youth League and Adult League teams).

Bridging the Gap Fundraiser: Run the Bridge for FREE!

Are you running or walking the Cooper River Bridge this year? Want to run it for FREE?

Here’s your opportunity to participate in the 2014 Cooper River Bridge Run for FREE and support the Charleston Miracle League at the same time!

Here’s how it works: Register for the Cooper River Bridge Run and pay the entry fee ($45) at www.bridgerun.com. Then, or if you’ve already registered for the Bridge Run, visit Charleston Miracle League’s First Giving donation portal by clicking here and click on the green “Fundraise” button to get started setting up your First Giving Donation Page to raise funds for Charleston Miracle League.

Once you fill in your information, click the Create Page button at the bottom of the form and follow the easy instructions to send your fundraising request out to family and friends!

Let them know you’re running (or walking) the bridge to support Charleston Miracle League and ask them to make a donation via your First Giving page. When you’ve raised $50 or more in official contributions, we’ll give you a $50 gift card from your choice of local restaurants, including The Kickin’ Chicken, Paisano’s Pizza Grill, Fiery Ron’s Home Team BBQ, and Triangle Char & Bar. The $50 gift card covers your Bridge Run registration fee, so you’re running for free, supporting Charleston Miracle League, AND getting great food at a great local restaurant. Now that’s a win-win-win!

¬†Setting up a First Giving donation page is quick and easy, and you can email your contacts with the link directly to your donation page. So, whether you’re already registered for the Bridge Run or are getting ready to, there’s still plenty of time to set up a First Giving donation page to run in support of the Miracle League!

And if you’re not participating in the Bridge Run, you can still support Charleston Miracle League, either by donating online here ,or by sending a check made out to Charleston Miracle League to:

Charleston Miracle League
P.O. Box 22072
Charleston, SC 29413
We hope you’ll support Charleston Miracle League at the Bridge Run. Raise $50 or more and get a $50 gift card from a great local restaurant … it’s a fantastic deal for a fantastic cause. Remember, even if you’ve already registered for the Bridge Run, you can still set up a First Giving page and qualify to get a $50 gift card!
