Volunteers Needed Oct. 23 at CML Golf Tourney!

We’re excited about the first annual Charleston Miracle League Mulligans for Miracles Golf Tournament presented by Palmetto Primary Care Physicians on Thursday, Oct. 23 at Shadowmoss Plantation!

We need some help from our awesome corp of volunteers to help us get things going the day before and day of this fantastic event.

If you’re available on Wednesday, Oct. 22 from about 12 pm to 3 pm (the day before the tournament), we can use your help filling MANY coolers with beverages and ice, and then loading these heavy items into our truck. A lot of energy and the ability to lift 50 lbs or more is essential for “cooler duty,” but we promise a fun time and we’ll even feed you while we work!

Then, on tournament day, Thursday, Oct. 23rd, we need help in two shifts — 9:30 a.m. to about 2 p.m. getting us set up with tables/tents/signage/unloading coolers, etc., and then from about 2 pm to 7 pm during the tournament (which starts at 1:30 pm and finishes with dinner at about 6 pm).  Help us with beverage service during the tourney, set up for the dinner and door prizes, and then takedown/clean up when we’re done at about 7 pm.

If you have a pick up truck that you can bring and assist us with, especially during the 9:30 am to 2 pm shift on tournament day of Thurs, Oct. 23, you’ll become one of our new personal heroes! Pick up trucks all day long will definitely help us out, but especially 9:30 a.m. to 2 pm on Oct. 23rd.

First shift volunteers on tournament day get lunch from The Kickin’ Chicken, and the second shift to help us close gets dinner from Moe’s Southwest Grill!

Golf tournaments are a LOT of fun to volunteer at, so if you can help Charleston Miracle League out on either day, please email [email protected] for more info/let us know when you’re available.
